Have you ever been to Idyllwild?
Many folks I talk to in San Diego have not, despite the fact that this breathtaking town is only a short drive away. It’s one of my favorite spots in SoCal; I’ve been coming on and off for years now.
If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed my new obsession… Steller.co. I’ve been in Idyllwild all week for an art retreat and figured that this was the perfect fit to capture the town’s folksiness and unique charm. I did this by creating a look book that highlights the quirky handmade signage that you see everywhere.
I didn’t bring my good camera (all these images are iPhone captures), so I was DOUBLY floored when Steller pick up my story and featured it… which got so many hits. I couldn’t be happier. One, that the story of this adorable town gets to be shared around the world… and two, that it was featured on this amazing site that values beauty and creativity!
Dare I say, it has been a pretty Steller week here in Idyllwild?!
